Birthrights:
Squirm:Dislocating body parts is a popular amusement for these dessicated creatures. Confining them is almost impossible. ALthough the cannot change their shape or mass, underfolk can contort into disquieting shapes with unnatural ease. This requires a few minutes of entertainment and a roll of Dexterity + Athletics ; the difficulty tranges from a 6 ( escaping from ropes) o a 10 (worming through the bars of a locked cell). The only substance that can completely imprison them is, of course, cold iron
A sluagh cannot use this birthright in the presence of mortals or the unenchanted.
Sharpened Senses:The unusual upbringing of these fae heightens their senses. Subtract two from any Perception roll a sluagh makes (to a minimum of 3). They may see through illusory magic by making a Perception+Alertness roll (Diff 7)
This Birthright always functions normally.

Frailty:
Curse of Silence: Sluagh cannot speak above a whisper, nomatter how hard they strain to be heard. Since they dislike social situations and hold to very odd rules of etiquette, add two to the difficulty of their Social rolls
While a sluagh may not appear to whisper to mortal ears, the individual in question is usually quite soft-spoken.

Description/History
Jonathan's human father was the butcher in the small town he raised his family in. A strong-backed man with work-rough hands, he tried to instill in his children that same appreciation of strength and simplicity. And to some degree, it worked - in a country where the grey of the grass was the same as the grey of the sky in the winter months, it was easy to grow up that way. Not necesarily unkind, but certainly harsh.

His middle son took these lessons and inverted nearly all of them. Shy and frail, he took all of that harshness and wore it within. As he grew older, he drifted away from the other children - preferring to spend his time playing alone in his parents' attic. It was there - among the cobwebs and spiders, an ancient typewriter and a broken china doll in a yellowed wedding dress, that he began to see more deeply. And later, began to tentatively reach out from solitude into the company of those others who did as well.

He left the small town, though, as quickly as he could. An English degree in college didn't get him the glamorous life he'd originally envisioned - one in a long string of disappointments and broken hearts along his way. Eventually, he settled in a city in the Kingdom of Willows - first writing theatre reviews, taking subtle pleasure in manipulating opinions through the written word. In the Kithain world, he worked to subtly collect information of note with the spiders that had been his oldest, truest friends and pass it on through careful campagns of letters and leaflets. He never made too much a public showing; only when he needed to.

A changing political current in his Duchy of residence, as well as a yearning for a fresh landscape, he packed up his house, his books and curios and relocated north to Boston. He's found work as an editor to several local aspiring (and published) writers, but still prefers to do writing of his own Feeling out things of interest carefully and putting them down on paper.
