Born in Adelaide, Australia, Lydia's life's work has taken her across the globe. Missionary work in Indonesia between University degrees lead her to the Chorus originally - her faith waning into murky agnosticism as she pursued her doctoral studies had her breaking ties with the Septarians in favor of the scientific-minded Alexandrian Society. Her original teachers didn't understand how she could break away without breaking off from the One. She still hasn't come up with an answer that satisfied them.

Originally focused on pure Biblical Archaeology,the rise of Christianity in the Middle East - and its purveyance beyond - remains a key focus in her work. Although her interst has broadened to sacred sites of many varied faiths;, beginning with Judaism and Islam and spiralling out from there.

By combing through the physical evidence of the presence of the divine - the One's manifestations in the physical realm - and carefully publishing her theories and findings when she can get away with rocking the Consensus a little, Lydia hopes to restore humankind's belief in a higher power. Herself included.
